This is your home page and the most important page on your site. You may choose the top in the flash as shown or html. Your homepage should peak your visitor's curiosity enough to click on the other links. Therefore, you try to let them know right up front, as soon as they get to this page, what you have to offer. You want them to get some kind of inkling from this one page, of what your site is all about. If you home page is not successful, then your business on the internet will be of no use. Sit down and plan out what you think you could put on your links to peak someone's curiosity just enough to click that link. Bullets on the home page, in my opinion, will help draw their interest enough to at least read it. A little animation is something else that will draw their attention. However, you do not want so much that it is bothersome. You want just enough to make it "eye catching" without overdoing it. There are several reasons not to do overdo it, with the main one being your file size. These are just some things you need to think about, but they are not all that makes your site successful. You need good keywords so when your page is submitted to the search engines, it can be found. These days it is really hard to get your page up front on the search engines because there are so many being submitted, so the better your key words are, the better chance you have.
